Our Mission

To serve publications and media groups throughout Pakistan with a special emphasize to safeguard the interests of regional newspapers to bring them to the mainstream media so that they could play their vital role in strengthening democracy and become voice of masses.

Public Affairs

As an advocate in public policy the APNEF enables newspapers from coast to coast to speak with a unified voice when promoting newspaper interests to governments, regulators and the general public. These interests include such issues as taxation, employment standards, recycling, freedom of information, privacy and copyright. In this capacity the APNEF monitors, analyzes and lobbies against legislation potentially harmful to newspapers and freedom of the press.

The APNEF contributes to the ongoing evolution of the newspaper industry by raising awareness and promoting the benefits of newspapers to both advertisers, media planners and newspapers.
